In the 1970, Carrera offered 1:24, 1:32 and 1:60 scales for slot cars, and the slot-free "Servo" systems which allowed cars to switch lanes, guided by the guard rails on the outside. Due to the many systems offered, and fewer customers (Generation), Neuhierl had to sell his company in 1985, and took his own life. The new owners sold rather cheap products.

Also, the car’s racing suspension is completely adjustable.

As for the exterior, there have also been a lot of significant changes in the recent AC Schnitzer in comparison to the model it was patterned on. The body kit itself is made of a carbon spoiler, the front grilles are manufactured with chrome and it boasts of a carbon rear end diffuser.
In terms of the interior changes include changes in the seat design. As a tribute to the base model, the interior is treated with the familiar Valencia Orange tint matching up to the outside.
