In the 1970, Carrera offered 1:24, 1:32 and 1:60 scales for slot cars, and the slot-free "Servo" systems which allowed cars to switch lanes, guided by the guard rails on the outside. Due to the many systems offered, and fewer customers (Generation), Neuhierl had to sell his company in 1985, and took his own life. The new owners sold rather cheap products.

Dodge-Challenger R/T Redline

The 2013 Dodge-Challenger R/T Redline picks up from where the 305 hp V-6 Rallye Redline left off in 2012. The Redline comes with a V8 engine and has been built with two trim levels: R/T and R/T Plus.
This car heats up Dodge's celebrated muscle-car series with sexy exterior accents, performance suspension and HEMI power train.

Engine

The 2013 Redline comes with a V8 drive train that generates a total of 375 horsepower and 410 lbs-ft of torque. This engine is connected to a standard Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual gearbox.
This combination on the Challenger delivers a fuel economy estimated at 15 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on highways. An optional 5-speed automatic gearbox is also available, but in this model, the powertrain produces 372 horsepower and 400 lbs-ft of torque. The automatic transmission delivers a fuel economy estimate of 16/25 mpg city/hwy.

Exterior

The 2013 R/T Redline is available in 4 exterior coats: Granite Crystal, Pitch black, Billet silver and Bright white. Each of these colors combine with the same 2-color Redline and Graphite stripe that runs from behind the front wheel curves to the rear section of the car.
The car is fitted with a standard 20-inch Black Chrome wheels that combine with a Redline Red inner backbone and lip. These wheels are wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 3-season tires, offered in Super Track Package that adds a lowered ride height and a high-performance brake linings.

Interior
 
Both trims feature a Dark Slate-Gray interior. The R/T trim's seats are covered with Dark Slate-Gray while the Plus trim comes with Radar Red Nappa-leather. Other standard features on the inside of the R/T model include: performance-tuned-steering calibration, mini-carbon bezel instrument panel, Uconnect voice command, SiriusXM Satellite radio. Standard interior features on R/T Plus include: 6 Boston-Acoustics premium speakers, EVIC (Electronic vehicle information centre), location specific compass and tire monitoring and power heated mirrors.
Despite all these loveable features, the 2013 Dodge-Challenger-R/T Redline will have to compete with rivals like: the Ford Mustang GT and the Chevrolet Camaro. All the same, the Challenger have many standard features and comes with an elegant exterior.
