In the 1970, Carrera offered 1:24, 1:32 and 1:60 scales for slot cars, and the slot-free "Servo" systems which allowed cars to switch lanes, guided by the guard rails on the outside. Due to the many systems offered, and fewer customers (Generation), Neuhierl had to sell his company in 1985, and took his own life. The new owners sold rather cheap products.

Audi

The Audi AG Company is a German production firm of cars traded under the brand of Audi. The corporation is based in Ingolstadt, Germany. Since the year 1964, Audi has been an entirely owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG or also the Volkswagen Group. The Volkswagen Group commenced the Audi brand once again through the 1965 entrance of the line of Audi 60. Soon after that, the name was obtained as a part of the purchase of Auto Union assets by Volkswagen from Daimler-Benz, the past owner.

The company’s name is derived from the family name of the originator August Horch, whose name itself is an English equivalent of the English word which is ‘hark’. Hark means listen, and when you translate then into Latin, it becomes Audi.

The Audi Company manufactures 100% electrified automobiles in order to avoid corrosion, which made them the first mass market car to do so.
